OUR PROJECTS
With Anhydrous Ohio, I plan to conduct numerous investigative projects. These projects will range from research projects to science experiments.
COMPLETED PROJECTS
In this project, I have tested the quality and effectiveness of two different faucet-mounted water filters. The two brands chosen were Brita and PUR. To conduct the experiment, we used an AM-12 TesTabs Water Investigation Kit by LaMotte. The Investigation Kit allowed us to investigate water pollutants using reagants. The water tested was provided by the Springfield Water Treatment Plant. To learn more, click on "PROJECT 01 - WATER FILTERS".
In this project, I obtained bottled water from nine bottled water brands: Absopure, Aquafina, Core Hydration, Dasani, Enon Springs, Kroger, Life Water, Nestle Pure Life, and Smart Water. After obtaining the bottled water, I tested the water contained in the bottles. This was done to determine whether or not bottled water brands are just simply packaging tap water. FUTURE PROJECTS
In this project, I will research France's impressive water system which utilizes reusable water bottles and public water fountains. In this project, I will research a country which either lacks safe, clean, and affordable drinking water or excels at providing its people with safe, clean, and affordable drinking water.
